Prerequisite quests and unlock requirements

Before you can pick up a customer's unlock quest you have to finish the quests leading up to it. Unlock conditions are the part people get stuck on most, so the prerequisites are laid out per customer below, as a tree, so thatwhich quest to take and in what order is visible at a glance.Main scenario quests are treated as endpoints — if you are following the story you have already cleared them — and the side quests in between are expanded instead. The more prerequisite side quests a customer has, the longer the road to unlocking them.

How do I unlock custom deliveries?

Get a crafter or gatherer to level 60, then finish the side quests Go West, Craftsman and Inscrutable Tastes (which needs the main scenario quest The Better Half, Lv. 50). That unlocks the first customer, Zhloe Aliapoh.

What order should I unlock customers in?

Working up from the lowest craft level — that is, in expansion order — is the natural route. Some customers depend on others though: Adkiragh needs Zhloe Aliapoh unlocked first. The prerequisite count list shows which ones take the least work.

Which customer has the most prerequisite quests?

Charlemend. A long chain of Ishgardian Restoration side quests leads up to it, and at 15 prerequisite side quests it is by far the heaviest. See the Charlemend tree.

What are the prerequisites for Kurenai?

The side quests Inscrutable Tastes and The Two Princesses of Sui-no-Sato, which trace back to the main scenario quests Forever and Ever Apart and The Better Half. See the Kurenai tree.

How do I unlock Zhloe Aliapoh?

Finish the side quest Go West, Craftsman (which needs the main scenario quest The Better Half), then pick the quest up from Geimlona in Idyllshire (X:5.7 Y:6.9) on a crafter or gatherer at level 60 or above. This is the first customer you can unlock.

How many custom delivery customers are there?

12 as of July 2026: Zhloe Aliapoh, M'naago, Kurenai, Adkiragh, Kai-Shirr, Ehll Tou, Charlemend, Ameliance, Anden, Margrat, Nitowikwe and Tiisol Ja.

Why can't I pick up Inscrutable Tastes?

Either the prerequisite main scenario quest The Better Half (Lv. 50) is not cleared yet, or your crafter or gatherer has not reached level 60.

Can gatherers do custom deliveries?

Yes. What each customer wants differs — some take crafted items and some take gathered items.
